This past Fri. I had my first appt. at this salon. From the booking online experience, until leaving after the appt., it was a wonderful experience. Chris Daniels was my stylist for cut, color, and highlights. He did an awesome job. He was extremely attentive and listened to me carefully. As others have commented on; the head massage was sooo relaxing! One of the things that impressed me the most was how the stylists helped each other out whenever someone's schedule became tight, such as in my case. It took him longer than he had planned, but not due to his overbooking; simply by unexpected circumstances which I won't get into. There aren't many salons that work together so cohesively, as a unit. This was customer service like I have not experienced in a long time!! I had a massage with Natasha and it was absolutely awesome! She is the best and I am a loyal customer of hers now. Loved the service she provided. My only complaint would be that I tried several times over the course of a day to make an appointment and kept getting the answering machine. I guess the phones were ring off the hook! We try to spend as much time with our guests on the phone to make sure that their appointments are booked correctly and that sometimes causes other calls to go directly to the answering machine. Always feel free to leave a message and the receptionist will call you back or feel free to book online as well. Hi My name is Zinnia and I just moved here from New York and was in desperate need of a hair cut.I walked in and the stylist Chris Daniels was on his way out and decided to take me with no appt. My headache went away when he started massaging my head I was so relaxed and not nervous, which is surprising because I normally don't trust anyone with my hair due to people wanting to hack it off. Well Chris has earned my trust! He is amazing at was he does and pays attention to detail. I have already made my next 2 appt. This was my first time getting my hair done at this salon and the experience was wonderful! Chris Daniels was my stylist and let me say first of all that he is awesome! I got highlights and lowlights and my hair has never looked this good. I even received a complimentary hand massage that was great. But the best part of the whole experience was the head massage that Chris performed during the washing process....omg, what he can do with those hands! Just moved here and was referred to the salon and to see Chris. I went in for a cut, but we decided to color my hair too. Seeing that I am out of work and looking for a job, even though it wasn't in my budget, it was well worth it. Chris has something goin there......I enjoyed the head massage ALOT.. My experience at I Am was fantastic and so relaxing. I just went in for a hair cut, but after talking to Chris Daniels, my new hair stylist, we descided to do highlights as well. After Chris finished, my hair felt and looked amazing. The color was just what I wanted and my hair looked healthy for once. My boyfriend said my hair looked great and that it felt really soft. Exceeded my expectations! I decided to try I Am Salon based on reading the rave reviews online. People are not lying! When I called to schedule an appointment, I had no problems and was scheduled for the next day. I had such a pleasant experience this morning when I walked into I Am Salon. I was paired up with Eden. She was very friendly and receptive to what I wanted. Being new to hair color, she clearly explained what she was going to do my hair making sure I understood. She was very attentive and did not rush through the process. I Am Salon has a very relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. All the staff members were very polite and professional. I just came back from my appointment with Natasha and she was the best massage therapist ever! I was so relaxed that I fell asleep! Not only is she super kind she also listened to what I wanted. I had the best experience ever at the I am salon and day spa. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. I had a series of services done. Jennifer was very nice and did a wonderful job with my message. I was very relaxed after she was done. Chris is the best stylist ever. He was honest and upfront with me about my hair and the condition it was in. He straighten my hair and it has been 3 days now and it is still straight. He did an amazing job with my hair it was full and healthy looking when I left the salon. Which normal after a day it goes back to being curly. Eden also did and amazing job with my pedicure.
